Every two years the IUTAM General Assembly decides on the list of IUTAM-sponsored
Symposia and instructional Summer
Schools. The Assembly calls upon the advice of the
Symposia Panels.
Proposals for symposia are made through the General Assembly members, the Adhering Organizations, and the Affiliated Organizations.
Prospective IUTAM Summer School organizers
are asked to fill out a Proposal for an IUTAM
Summer School form and sent it to the IUTAM Secretary-General.
